Engineered Flooring

Engineered flooring is constructed of several layers in order to give extra stability, and so is not overly prone to cupping and tenting.  An array of  wood species, finishes, gradings and formats is available.  Generally engineered flooring is laid ‘floating’ onto an underlayment, but is also perfect for sticking directly to the subfloor.  Most manufacturers are happy to guarantee their engineered flooring with underfloor heating, but the manufacturers strict installation guidelines but be adhered to.
